New Resolution: No More Disliked Work

During these summer travels I have realized that I was quite unbalanced in my distribution of fun vs. work during the past school year. I have already read 4 books since I started my summer, while I did not read for fun last year. I let about 9 months go by just telling myself that I am supposed to do school work, which stands against most of the things I believe in. I tried doing work early on so that I would not have to do it at the last minute, however, since I disliked it so much due to its business-driven nature, I always took a really long time to complete it and ended up wasting much of my dragged days.
Therefore, my conclusion is that when I leave things I do not like to do for the last minute, as is the natural thing to do, I do it with a lot more drive, being that I must finish them things ASAP. This drive happens on its own and leads me to work to my best potential, and being that I am also a perfectionist, it also cuts away from my spending of energy on things I do not like. All of this leads me to spending most of my days on things I do enjoy, such as reading for fun, hanging out with friends, making up my own software, writing on my blog, etc. etc. etc. Thus, I am quite excited for the execution of this new resolution.
